Who are we?

“Let no one look down on you because of your youth, but be a continuing example of love, faith, and purity to believers.”

I Timothy 4:12

The youth group at Saint Rose of Lima is open to all high school teens. Here, youth are united for fellowship, to reflect on Scripture, learn about the Church and Church teaching, discuss life, retreats, social activities, service opportunities, cultural and sports events, learning opportunities, and prayer experiences. Our goal is that teens are comfortable learning and practicing their faith.

Youth come together several times a month for youth nights, for movie nights, for prayer/rosary nights, service projects (such as serving at the kitchen at St. Vincent de Paul once a month), lock-ins, and other activities. We also participate in various activities with youth from other parishes from the Diocese of San Diego, especially in South Bay.
